About Sunnybrook Village
Sunnybrook Village is owned and operated by Richard (Rick) and Shuree Emery, a Maine family with many years of experience in caring for the expectations and needs of seniors.
What makes Sunnybrook Village different from other Maine retirement communities and assisted-living facilities is our family philosophy.
Sunnybrook Village is not owned by a large or distant corporation, but by the Emery family who believes in providing quality service in a warm, caring environment.
While our approach is highly uncommon, it's also very simple. We treat all people with the respect they deserve and the special attention they need.
Choosing a new home is more than simply finding the perfect house or neighborhood. It's about finding a place where you're comfortable, safe, and secure. A place where you belong. A place where a helping hand is always there if you need it.
Located in Brunswick, Maine — named by Money magazine as one of the country's top communities in which to retire — Sunnybrook Village is uniquely and geographically positioned in the United States and the State of Maine to provide a lifestyle sought after by seniors far and wide. This cozy, friendly community, shaped by Bowdoin College's long history, has many arts, entertainment, and academic offerings.
“Distinctive Living" perhaps best describes the gracious atmosphere that a family-run “owner in the store” personalized management style can provide. |

“This is more than a community. It has become a big extended family, and I want the same for everyone here that I want for my own mother — so, when someone needs something, we make it happen.”
