The Location
On the Bath/Brunswick border, Sunnybrook is connected to two beautiful, vibrant, historic coastal communities.
All the reasons that Money magazine cited when it featured Brunswick as one of the 25 best places to retire in 2000 and again in 2005 are part of the town's long-standing character, which is here to stay and only keeps getting better.
Brunswick's Maine Street is vibrant with restaurants, galleries, and shops. The village green invites gatherings on park benches, at the trolley-car hot dog stand, and at the weekly farmers' market. The town is rich with beautiful historic architecture, and any number of scenic coastal drives meander their way both north and south of town center.
The City of Bath, has long been known as the "City of Ships." Its architecture, cultural offerings, and
downtown character are rooted in its shipbuilding heritage. In 2009, only one road in New England — Bath's Front Street — made the National Planning Association's list of "Great Streets in America," which the Association called a well-preserved architectural treasure.
